About this speaker
Rachel Mims, MS, ATR-BC, LPC-AT-S, is a U.S. Army Veteran, Board Certified Art Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Rachel graduated from Florida State University in 2014 and has spent over a decade working with veterans and their families in higher education, nonprofit organizations, and local mental health agencies. She currently works in private practice, providing supervision for new therapists and individual services for women, LGBTQ+ folx, and veterans who have experienced trauma, are neurodivergent, and/or have chronic health conditions. She also offers consultations for mental health professionals looking to open a private practice or maintain their practice while moving to and living in another country.
In addition to her therapy work, Rachel is the founder of Wild Free Art, a creative initiative that promotes wellness through art and creativity. Through Wild Free Art, she offers creative coaching, art classes, and an artist membership via Patreon, providing resources and community for anyone looking to explore the intersection of art and well-being.
